Sunday May 1st
Overcast and cool in the morning - the captain is steering the ship in a north-easterly direction - apparently it's the shortest route, but by no means the warmest!
I did a lot of stair walking to loosen my knotted muscles, checked on Louis to learn that yes, he had suffered a mini-stroke and was in the infirmary. Found a quiet corner to work on crossword puzzles - haven't found a Scrabble partner yet. The afternoon was warm and sunny, so I moved to a deck lounge to read and nap. Drink of the Day was a lime/cucumber smash - quite good, very refreshing.
Dinner was fruit salad, veal schnitzel, creme brulee - Louis and Tina were not there so we were left with youngish couple who were quite intriguing - many of their stories kept us guessing - we think they embellished a lot, but it was entertaining nonetheless.
String quartet and early to bed. Very relaxing so far, not as 'busy' as the Sisters Cruise.
