Sunday June 15th
Logan and Grandpa checked out the balcony....
We learned that the occupants of the other cabin had been up for hours before we made our way to the breakfast buffet - Logan was thrilled with his choice of waffles with peaches and whipped cream - and bacon - and sausage -yummy!
This was a sea day and the kids spent a great deal of time (hours!) in the pool.
Jodie posed as "the little mermaid"
....and they tried out the hot tub ....
Seas were fairly gentle, but we were now out of sheltered waters, and the nearest land on one side was Japan ...... Jodie checks on her Mom.
Jason visited Sick Bay to get some drugs for her, and she was fine as long as she was lying down, or sitting perfectly still, facing the front of the ship. She was able to join us in the dining room for the first formal night, even posing for photos, looking very relaxed - she says 'drugged'.
And we were lucky enough to get a beautiful photo of Logan and Jodie together - Logan had to be persuaded, but Jodie is a natural 'huggy-bug'.
Grandma and Grandpa allowed Logan to stay up past his bedtime to check out the evening show, a champagne toast by the Captain, jokes from the Cruise Director, and one musical number before heading back to the cabin to tuck in for the night.
